ORDERING TIPS

 

If you are new to the world of screen printing Direct Image will happily walk you through the steps, from concept to finished product. Following are general ordering steps:

CATALOG 

If you still can’t find what you're looking for see the manufacturers listed on our RESOURCES page. We can easily bring in most of their products.

 

GET AN ESTIMATE. Our Price List  gives you an idea of basic printing costs broken down by quantity, print size, and number of colours. We are always happy to provide a detailed estimate on request.

PAY THE DEPOSIT.  The cost of the blank garments or 50% of the estimate if you are supplying your own garments / panels.

SUBMIT YOUR ARTWORK. We can work with all types of art from sketches to separated films. We charge a standard fee ($15) for simple artwork that is already formatted as a high resolution (300-600dpi)

We have an excellent in house artist who also accepts jpegs, tiffs, scans, original artwork, and ideas. If you have any questions about art please contact Shane: shaneco2@gmail.com

 

We have a range of Stock Colours that we will use unless you request a specific Pantone Number or Colour Matching. Charges apply if we have to mix or match your colour.

 

CONFIRM THE DETAILS. Fill out and fax or e-mail a  Print Work Order  to make sure that specialized designs, colours, and placements are correct. Return Approved Artwork Proof.

 

If you would like to come into the shop for a "Press Check", please make an appointment. Charges apply.

 

Terms & Conditions

Order Placement & Delivery

Our minimum order is 12.

Orders cannot be processed without a deposit for the blank goods or 50% of the estimate if you are supplying your own.

Standard turnaround is 7-10 business days from receipt of deposit. We can accommodate rush jobs but they are subject to a fee. Please see the Rush Service Waiver on the FOLDERS Page.

Delivery is the responsibility of the customer.

Artwork & Design

First 30 minutes of artwork is free. Hourly rate is $45/hr thereafter.

Artwork produced for presentation is the property of Direct Image Screen Works until account is paid in full.

Customer assumes liability for patent and copyright infringement.

If there is a typo or error that was approved on your art proof, it is your responsibility.

Payment

Payment is due on receipt, Terms are granted upon completion of a credit application.

Payment policy is net 15 days upon approved credit. Past due accounts will be charged a 1.5% per month Service Fee. No further orders will be processed if an account is past due 45 days. Accounts that exceed 90 days will be closed.

Credit and debit payments are subject to a 2% Service Fee.

Returns

We take pride in standing behind our printing. If we make a mistake, we will do everything we can to correct it.

When you receive your order, please go through it carefully. You have 3 business days to inform us of errors, omissions or quality defects.

Our normal misprint rate is insignificant but we do allow for 2%. We will credit accounts for any spoilage in excess of one piece or 2% - whichever is greater.
